James Mathers
James Mathers began his career in San Francisco working as an playwright/actor at The Magic Theater, Eureka Theater, SF Rep and the Bay Area Playwright's Festival with writers and performing artists John O'Keefe, Sam Shepard, George Walker and others.
In the early seventies, he worked as writer, director, editor and producer of 16mm industrial/educational films and A/V productions.
Ten years in San Francisco was followed by ten years in New York with the Manhattan Class Company at the Nat Horne Theater on 42nd Street. Mathers came to Hollywood in the nineties to work in film, theater and television.
